I believe that music is a universal language that builds confidence and discipline. I chose to become a teacher because I remember the spark I felt when I first mastered a difficult song, and I want to share that same 'aha!' moment with my students. For me, teaching isn't just about notes on a page; it's about helping a student find their own voice. Whether I’m teaching a child their first chords or helping a teen produce their first track in Logic Pro, my goal is to make music the best part of their week.
I use a 'Student-Centered' approach. This means I don't use a 'one size fits all' book. Instead, I combine three pillars in every lesson:
The Foundation: We start with the 'must-haves'—proper posture, hand technique, and reading music. This ensures the student doesn't develop bad habits.
The Interest: I ask the student what songs they love. If they want to play a song they heard on the radio, we use that song to teach the theory. It keeps them motivated!
Modern Creativity: Since I am a producer, I encourage students to move beyond just playing. We explore songwriting and digital production (Logic/FL Studio) so they can see how a simple piano melody becomes a full song.
For Parents: I provide a brief progress update after every lesson so you know exactly what we worked on and what your child should practice during the week.
