I am a native French teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching French to teenagers and adults, both in higher education and in other educational settings. I have a PhD in Linguistics and French Language Teaching.
I teach French at different levels and for different purposes, including school and exam preparation, as well as conversation and general language development. I have experience preparing students for the Leaving Certificate, Junior Cycle and DELF examinations.
My approach is structured and tailored to each learner. I focus on helping students develop accurate, confident and effective communication in French, while adapting lessons to their individual needs and goals.
I am based in Ardfert, County Kerry, and offer lessons both in person and online.

Education
PhD in Linguistics and French Language Teaching, awarded in 2009. My academic background combines linguistics, language teaching and the didactics of French as a Foreign Language.
Expérience / Qualifications
Over 15 years of professional experience teaching French to teenagers and adults, including extensive experience in higher education. I have taught learners at different levels and have designed and delivered French language courses in a variety of educational contexts.
I have experience preparing students for the Leaving Certificate, Junior Cycle and DELF examinations, including DELF B2. I have also taught and supported future French language teachers and supervised Master's students.

Professeure de français langue maternelle, je propose une préparation ciblée aux examens du Leaving Cert, du Junior Cycle et du DELF. Forte de plus de 15 ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement, j'aide les élèves à développer leurs compétences en français et à se préparer efficacement à leurs examens, en leur apportant un soutien en expression orale et écrite, en grammaire, en vocabulaire, en compréhension et en méthodologie. Les cours sont adaptés au niveau, aux besoins et aux objectifs de chaque élève.
