This is what I offer you through my course: tune the instrument, work on your first chords and quickly play your first songs; read tablature, discover and master scales and modes to combine them with playing expressions such as hammer-ons, pull-offs, legato; develop your musical ear by exploring the depth of certain styles such as pop, rock, blues, jazz, bossa nova, funk just to name a few. All this will no longer have any secrets for you! Whether you have no experience or a few weeks of practice at hand, we will go step by step, taking into account your level, so that you evolve at your own pace and consistently. I have two Bachelor's degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid and currently at the Koninklijke Conservatorium Brussels. I have a Master's degree with Olsi Leka, premier cellist of the Belgian National Orchestra. My courses are in Spanish, in Anglais et in french.

Our teacher using, if necessary, an electro-acoustic guitar to better accompany your voice and guide some of its subtleties, the teaching philosophy is adapted to each level, according to the pace of work and motivation. Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. My name is Federico and I am a professional and Award Winning saxophone player. I worked at Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles as an Assistant Professor of Jeroen Van Herzeele the jazz saxophone professor. I graduated at Conservatorio G.Martucci of Salerno (Italy) and had both Bachelor and Master with full marks with honors. During the course of my studies i also spent two academic years abroad , one at the Kask and Conservatorium of Ghent with the supervision of Bart Defoort and one at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles with John Ruocco. In 2017 i won the "Massimo Urbani International Jazz Competition" prize that saw as head of the jury Kurt Rosenwinkel & Fabrizio Bosso. I play in several Jazz bands and I have been performing all around Europe. I recorded a solo album called "Right Now" with the famous Italian label "Philology Records" & the album"Supernova" with my own band. I also recorded several albums with different bands and of many styles, from jazz, funk to pop. I toured with the famous Italian Drummer Tullio De Piscopo (Pino Daniele, Mina, Astor Piazzolla's drummer) and also had the chance to make a variety of television appearances on Italian National Television (Rai1, Rai5, Rai3). Je suis une jeune pianiste diplômée, actuellement étudiante au Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. J'attache une forte importance à l'enseignement depuis le plus jeune âge, ayant été guidée par un père professeur de piano. J'ai commencé à exercer ce métier dès l'âge de 16ans, en ayant de nombreux élèves particuliers réguliers ainsi qu'en ayant travaillé dans plusieurs écoles de musique. Le rapport professeur-élèves-parents est très important pour moi, afin d'avoir un bon suivi de l'élève. Ma méthode est simple; que l'élève se sente en confiance et puisse s'exprimer librement à travers son instrument. Ayant eu un père professeur de piano, j'ai toujours été baignée dans cet univers. Partager mes connaissances, rencontrer de nouveaux talents, de nouveaux profils, aider l'élève et communiquer a toujours été très important pour ma part. Le rapport professeur-élève est très important pour que ce dernier puisse s'épanouir pleinement.

My method is based on serious and rigorous practice (while taking into account the student's ambitions) as well as learning most often by ear. This is indeed how music can be truly integrated over the long term. I would be delighted to work with serious and determined students.

Concernant le contenu du cours je le module en fonction de vos attentes et objectifs. Je lie systématiquement le travail concret de l'instrument ( Classique, Variété ou Jazz ) avec un apprentissage minimal des éléments de base de la pratique musicale en général : théorie de la musique, formation de l'oreille intérieure, développement de la sensibilité harmonique, mélodique et rythmique, solfège etc... Je peux volontiers aborder tout cela plus profondément à la demande de l'élève, c'est passionnant aussi vous verrez ! La première rencontre sera l'occasion de discuter de tout cela, afin de mettre en place un cadre adopté à votre profil (Jeune enfant débutant, adolescent confirmé, adulte en reprise ou autres...) Je considère que l'essentiel est de trouver un bon équilibre entre les exigences de rigueur inévitables pour progresser dans l'apprentissage du piano et le plaisir immédiat de jouer de la musique, qu'on est en droit d'attendre d'un si bel instrument ! Un fois trouvé, la joie et la bonne humeur sont garanties !

During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

This applied music theory course is for any passionate musician, regardless of level. It aims to broaden his musical knowledge and abilities by understanding music as a whole. The goal is to be able to decode and understand how a music (not only of classical style, but also pop, jazz, rock, electro, ...) was composed, and to be able to use interesting harmonies oneself. and solid in a personal composition / production. It is made up of two main topics: * Harmony (building chords, understanding chord diagrams, learning to Harmonize a given melody, the possibility or not of using these Harmonies in a given style, etc.). But also understand the key, how to build a scale, how to navigate between different keys, how to transform a classic chord suite into another style? Harmony is a course open to all and all levels, no prerequisites to have. Any passionate musician will find interest in it, that's guaranteed. * Writing is a much more targeted course, which is already an introduction to classical composition. In this branch, we will develop the rules of classical writing (parallel fifths and octaves, false relations etc, ...) within the framework of an exercise based on a given melody or bass (in the first case it will be necessary to invent harmonization and compose a bass, in the second, it will be necessary to invent the harmonization and the melody). This course can also be used by academy or conservatory students who wish to prepare for the writing exam, or simply to deepen their knowledge.

I teach Classical Piano, Jazz, Pop, Variety, Rock, Solfege and Harmony, for beginners or for more advanced levels and for all ages (children, teenagers, adults). I also work with the singers who need to learn the chords and general bases of Harmony applied to the Piano.

Violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP of Namur, I give violin lessons at all levels, all ages, from 5 years old for children. With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake. Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis. An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History. My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.

Musician with several years of experience in education and art, graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and The Hague (Netherlands). All ages and levels are welcome!
